Not My GOAT – Cristiano Ronaldo Attends Dinner At White House

I had been a fan of the Portuguese superstar for a long time, ever since I started really paying attention to and enjoying football.

I’ve watched him change his football to adapt to different circumstances.

From defenders figuring out his dribbling and shooting styles, to changing positions or leagues, and even aging.

I’ve watched and supported a footballer whom I idolized as a young man.

Someone who I thought, although he makes millions, always donates to help less fortunate children.

I thought, “This is a person who is passionate about the sport he plays and also seeks to leave the world in a better state than he found it.”

I now see he only cares about money.

Why else would he surround himself with terrible people?

Dinner With The Orange Man

If you don’t already know, Cristiano Ronaldo attended a black-tie dinner at the White House alongside Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.

Read about it on the BBC website HERE.

He attended the dinner and was then seen walking with Donald Trump around the White House.

Currently, Donald Trump sits in the Oval Office as the effective president of the United States.

Trump is a terrible person, to say the least.

Well before Ronaldo made his way to dinner with the orange man, he had an interview with Piers Morgan.

In this interview, he said, and I quote, “He is one of those guys that can help change the world.”, when referring to Trump.

Yeah.

His changes so far include ripping families apart, setting US military forces on civilians, creating a modern-day Gestapo, allowing ICE to racially profile citizens, and caging children.

Just to name a few.

An Orange Monster

There is a long list of abhorrent behaviors alone from the current US president.

Those include but are not limited to racist remarks, misogynistic behaviors and remarks, and overall xenophobia.

He places blame on immigrants for the economic crisis the US is currently facing, and blames them for crimes they are clearly not committing.

Under his Presidency, there has been a huge surge of racism from his predominantly white followers.

He was also a good friend of Jeffrey Epstein, and it is heavily implied that he is in the Epstein files.

Those files that have yet to be released to the United States public.

Many cries of outrage from both the general public and prominent government officials have been ignored by Trump’s current administration regarding the release of those files.

Yeah, he’s changing the world, alright, but not for the better.

By Association

Tesla owner and Billionaire Elon Musk was also present at this dinner.

We all remember Musk’s “salute” at a Trump rally after it was announced that Trump had won the presidential race.

Ronaldo made the conscious decision to attend the dinner and pose for photos with Donald and members of his administration.

By surrounding himself with these individuals and making these comments about Donald Trump, he has effectively destroyed his legacy.

It is a massive betrayal of football and the children who idolize him.

Seeing their idol run in such circles may lead these young, impressionable minds to believe that the behavior exhibited by these individuals is acceptable.

The acts some of these individuals have committed, and the accusations they are facing, are abhorrent and should never be deemed acceptable.

Ronaldo spits in the face of everything he claimed he once stood for.

If You Can’t Win It, Buy It

Frankly, with the 2026 FIFA World Cup fast approaching and this being Cristiano’s last attempt to win it, it kinda feels like he’s trying to buy that trophy.

Attain it by any means necessary.

It feels like he’s trying to cozy up to Trump, who seems cozy with FIFA president Gianni Infantino.

Infantino is another garbage person who only cares about himself and filling his pockets.

Infantino gave the actual trophy for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup to President Trump rather than let the winners, Chelsea FC, keep it.

Chelsea got a replica.

Not My GOAT

So consider this the middle finger, Cristiano Ronaldo.

I will never support or follow anyone who thinks someone like Donald Trump “can help change the world”.

Donald Trump, who is using my people as scapegoats, calling us criminals, inciting violence against immigrants, and launching America back into the Jim Crow era.

I hope you never reach those 1000 career goals.

I hope you never lift that World Cup trophy.

I hope your retirement is like ash in your mouth.

Fuck you, Cristiano Ronaldo.

You are not my football GOAT.
